Cronomer Valley Fire District (NY) Launches New Website with Focus on Community, Recruitment

First Arriving helped Cronomer Valley Fire District launch a new website with a focus on catering to the community in the 11 square mile area that they serve and pushing their recruitment efforts in the community.

This summer, First Arriving helped Cronomer Valley Fire District in New York launch a new website with a focus on catering to the community in the 11 square mile area that they serve and pushing their recruitment efforts in the community.

For over a decade, the department’s site was an old template that was rarely updated and when it was time to update the site, First Arriving’s services with a focus on recruitment made First Arriving the best choice for CVFD.

“Cronomer Valley FD was looking for a new design to feature HD graphics, a bright new look,” Bob Quackenbush said. “and create a recruiting tool for encouraging public to join the volunteer ranks customized to our Fire District.”

It was all of the additional aspects to sites that First Arriving does that drew Quackenbush. CVFD has active social media sites so linking those to their new site was an important addition.

A new members-only section of the website was another addition that helped transfer primary internal communication to online so that members could receive that information wherever they were and would not need to come into the department.

“They [First Arriving] have an experienced staff, always communicating and making suggestions when needed, and do a superb job of getting you up and running with minimal problems.” Quackenbush said. He also added that he would work with First Arriving again if needed and would recommend First Arriving’s services to other departments.

The new site has changed Cronomer Valley’s online presence and First Arriving has made it easy for Quackenbush and the rest of the department to use their new site to reach all of their goals.
