King George County, Virginia shares their experience with First Arriving Dashboards, which were installed into their three stations.
Other forms of communication didn’t guarantee that others in the department would see the information being sent to them but with the digital dashboards, information is presented clearly on a screen that’s hard to miss.
“As members come in they can look at the screen and get a snapshot of what’s going on in our department,” Steven Lynd, Battalion Chief & Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator, said.
Information about training is displayed, along with any other critical information that tells the members how and when to sign up so that they can be prepared for training times.
“We’re pushing out our message and what’s important to us in the department and so that we can better serve the citizens.”
